Quick Jots and Whatnots

Blink here. We’ve been busy. Really busy. Between parties, playing, meet & greets, kids and fam stuff, we haven’t had much time to blog in-depth. In short, we haven’t been writing because we are having way, way, way too much fun. So here’s what’s been happening:

Cool Stuff:

We’ve fallen into a core group of players at the same life level we are. We haven’t played with them yet but they’ve seen Mercy and I play so we will see.

Mercy has a steady “boyfriend-ish” and I have a steady “girlfriend-ish”. Neither are part of the same couple. I don’t know, you figure it out. My brain hurts.

We’ve found a niche and a philosophy which has helped us deal with issues in a more real way. We are much more successful in our playtimes and our intimacy. Here it is: communicate emotions. Hardest thing to do, but it’s an imperative. Start your sentences off with “I feel ” instead of “I think”.

We’ve lost, collectively, 25 pounds since we started in the lifestyle. We eat much healthier. We exercise regularly, sleep better, think better, and we are ill far less than we were. Part of this is attributed to looking and feeling our best before play, the other part is that we want to look best for each other, and the final part is that sex is a lot of work.

Lastly, be like a kid. This is fun. Sometimes you get rejected and sometimes you do the rejecting. Assess it, improve it if necessary or possible, and return to the game. If you think you are going to get laid every week, you are mistaken. If you think you’ll have fun every week, then you’ll have fun regardless of whether or not you play.
